About this product
The OPTI-RATE leaf spring system is the result of over a decade of refinement in suspension tuning for lifted, loaded, and converted vans. Instead of selecting a leaf pack based only on expected payload or ride height, the OPTI-RATE design gives you real flexibility to fine-tune your ride as your build evolves.
Key Features & Benefits:
Adjustable Spring Rate & Ride Height
Thanks to its patented Adjustable Preload Spacers (APS), this leaf spring system enables you to dial in the ideal balance between ride comfort and load support. For light loads, you can run it in its softest mode without APS. When carrying heavier cargo or wanting more ride height, simply stack one or two delrin spacer pads to engage the secondary leaf stage and increase stiffness.
Two-Stage Progressive Design
The spring consists of a primary leaf stage and a 3-leaf secondary stage. The gap between stages is intentionally engineered to accept the APS units, making the transition smooth and predictable.
Easy Adjustment (No Major Disassembly Required)
You don’t need to pull the springs out of the van. Adjusting the preload involves just a floor jack, a socket wrench, and a mallet. This lets you adapt ride characteristics on the fly as load or priorities change.
Restores Ride Height Without Excessive Lift
Instead of overshooting your ride height to regain sag, these springs are engineered to carefully correct it. They’re also fully compatible with lift blocks and geometry correction systems, including Van Compass’s 2″ lift kits.
What’s Included:
Matched pair of OPTI-RATE full replacement leaf springs
4 billet APS blocks
4 top preload delrin glide pads
4 middle delrin preload spacers
U-bolts and nuts
Fitment & Compatibility:
Designed for Sprinter 2500 vans (2015–present)
Compatible with 4×4 / AWD drivetrains
Note: These are progressive-rate springs, not factory parabolic leaves. Regular maintenance (lubrication, deep cleaning) is recommended to maintain quiet, optimal performance.
